Day 01 Arrival Yangon

Welcome at Yangon International Airport. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Orientation tour Yangon highlights: down town Yangon to see Sule Pagoda, City Hall, Independent monument and old Colonial buildings. Proceed to Botahtaung Pagoda with sacred relic chamber and stop at Strand Hotel: the 1901-built three-storied 5 star hotel in Yangon remains one of Southeast Asia’s few grand colonial hotels. Chaukhtatkyi : huge reclining Buddha Image in Guest receiving position. Later on, visit to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the wonders in the world, noted for its religious significance and artistic beauty. If time permits,take a stroll in China Town noted for its fruits market and delicious street foods stalls and vendors aside the main street. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at the Hotel in Yangon.

Day 02 Flight to Kyaing Tong

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to KyaingTong.Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel. Drive to trekking start-point (01:30 hrs). Trekking to Akha village (approximately 30 minutes), ladies with the black dress and the silver headdress. Proceed to Enn village (approximately 20 minutes), the men wear the long black trousers and the black jackets whereas women wear the black longies and black blouses, similar to Red Indians. Trek back to the starting-point (30 minutes). Drive back to Kyaing Tong. Leisure and overnight in Kyaing Tong.

Day 03 Kyaing Tong

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Drive about 01:30 hrs to start trekking. Visit Akha four villages with different religions and different ways of living. Back to the coach. Continue to Palaung Village, women wear their traditional costumes. Back to Kyaing Tong and wandering in the town, such as nearby Naung Tong Lake, etc. Overnight in Kaying Tong.

Day 04 Flight to Heho. Drive to Inle(35 km, 01 hour)

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit local market. Observe “WatZon Kham Temple”, which is very similar in architecture of Laungpraban in Laos, lacquerware workshop, pottery village, etc. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Heho. Upon arrival, drive to Inle and check in at the hotel. Overnight at Inle Lake.

Day 05 Excursion Inle

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Boat excursion on the lake. Visit colourful local market, floating gardens, floating villages, Lotus-petal robe & silk weaving looms at Inn Paw Khone village, visit KhitSunn Yin hand weaving Centre. PhaungdawOo Pagoda – the most venerable pagoda on the lake, jumping cats monastery, etc. Return to hotel and overnight at Inlelake.

Day 06 Visit Inle& flight to Mandalay

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Inn Dein pagodas in ruins covered by trees and bushes. Afternoon, transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, drive to Mandalay (01 hour) and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 07 Excursion Mingun& sightseeing Mandalay

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Boat excursion to Mingun (01 hour) along the Ayeyarwaddy River. During the river cruise, we may enjoy the fascinating landscapes of the river as well as the daily life of the people living along the Ayeyarwaddy. Visit Mingun pagoda – unfinished pagoda & the biggest ringing bell of 90 tons, unusual Myatheindan pagoda. Back to Mandalay and visit traditional handicraft workshops such as, gold leaves beating, Kuthodaw Pagoda – the world biggest book, Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery – the finest of wood carving. Finally enjoy the sunset on top of Mandalay Hill where we can admire the beauty of Mandalay City, Shan Plateau, etc. Come back to hotel and leisure. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 08 Excursion Amarapura, Sagaing& Ava (Inwa)

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit Mahamuni Buddha Image – one of the most sacred Buddha Images in Myanmar. Excursion to Amarapura, an ancient capital of Myanmar, where we can observe the life of over 1000 monks at Mahagandaryon Monastery & silk weaving factory. Proceed to Sagaing, where we can observe the fascinating landscapes of the AyeyarwaddyRiver from serene Sagaing Hill, the place of over 700 monasteries, Kaungmudaw Pagoda – the magnificent dome remarkably seen from far away, silverware factory, etc. Continue to Ava (Inwa) and visit by horse carts to MaenuOkkyaung Monastery – built by the chief queen in 1818, Nan Myint Tower-27 meter masonry high is, Bargayar Monastery – well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars. Come back to Amarpaura and enjoy the sunset by crossing over U Bein bridge. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 09 River cruise to Bagan

Early morning, transfer to the jetty for the river cruise to Bagan. Leisure and enjoy the marvelous landscapes during the cruise. The boat may stop in some villages to get the local passengers up and down. Arrive to Bagan and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 10 Sightseeing Bagan

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit colorful local market, Shwezigon Pagoda – the glory of Bagan, Htilominlo Temple – the best pilaster carving, Nathtaukkyaung – monastery made of teak wood, Ananda Temple – the masterpiece of Bagan, the Gubyaukgyi Temple – the best mural paintings of 11th century, Manuha Temple – huge Buddha Images, Dhamayangyi Temple – the biggest temple in Bagan, Sulamani Temple – the 12th century temple, the lacquerware workshop – the unique of Bagan, etc. Finally, enjoy the sunset on top of a pagoda or temple. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 11 Flight to Yangon.Sightseeing

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel. Visit Bogyoke market [except on Monday] & china town. Leisure on your own and overnight in Yangon.

Day 12 Departure

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for the departure flight.
Optional Myanmar – Thai border (Thachileik- Mae Sai)
We can enter to Thachileik from Mae Sai by crossing the bridge. Upon arrival at the border, we will assist the border pass procedure and bring the clients to waiting vehicles. We just have to walk about 05 minutes to cross over the Myanmar-Thai border bridge. We can even do vice versa by entering to Yangon, continuing to Bagan, Mandalay Inle Lake and Kyaing Tong then concluding the trip in Thachileik.
